Especially Invaluable as a point fly in the winter months when midges knocked loose from the substrate may be one of a fish's only sources of food. Most often I use these in sizes #18-22 in tandem with one or two other flies and some split shot. I can tie this in sizes #16-#22 in most color combinations.
