A deadly chironomid style variation on a zebra midge. Featuring hot spots on the collar and the butt, as well as a white tungsten bead to make the fly both sink quickly, and imitate pupa breathers. I have a ton of colors of thread, and quite a few colors of wire to choose from. I only listed a few combinations in the options - feel free to inquire about specific color combinations - if I have it, I'll do it.
IMPORTANT HOOK INFO: I can tie this on standard length, barbless, black nickel finished scud hooks in sizes #10 - #20. #22 are on bronze finish, barbed hooks. THE PHOTO IS ON A SCUD HOOK.
I can also tie these on #10-#20 2x long chironomid hooks - THESE HOOKS ARE BARBED, and have a 2x long hook shank. Check out my other chironomid listings to see this style of hook.
