The Cadillac version of a San Juan Worm - nothing moves quite like it underwater, and at certain times of year it can be almost too easy with patterns like this. Squirmies are money year-round, but they're definitely my favorite during spring runoff conditions. When the water it high and turbid, and nothing will turn a head, the squirmy will save the day. Absolutely deadly for trout, panfish and bass, but really you can catch about any species on these. A tungsten bead will help this fly get down as they are not the most aerodynamic. These are available in Pink, Blood Worm Red, and Tan in sizes #12 - #16.
