A standard chironomid pattern that is equally effective in still waters and tail waters. Featuring a holographic tinsel body, wire ribbing and a tungsten bead to mimic the gills of a chironomid pupa.
I can tie this in sizes #8 - #20 on a 2x long chironomid hooks as it is in the picture. I can also tie these on standard length, barbless, black nickel finished scud hooks in sizes #8 - #20. Scud hooks will be much shorter. Message me about using scud style hooks if you prefer those.
I'm happy to switch out color combos if you'd like. I have different colors of holographic tinsel and different colors of wire for ribbing.
